Just thought I'd give an update our lives. We are well in Springville and are having a lot of girl fun lately. Steve lost his assistant at work a couple of months ago and while they've been assessing whether a replacement is necessary he's been working 60+ hours a week. Needless to say they've determined a need, and Steve should be training a new assistant within the month. To keep my sanity we've been on the run doing lots of fun stuff to pass the time. We went up to the cabin for a day and we've been to the zoo, Thanksgiving Point (several times), Ikea, having play groups, and doing all the shopping we need to for growing girls, upcoming birthdays and Christmas! I am almost all done with Christmas! It's a good feeling and may be necessary depending on when this baby comes.
Katie is enjoying school and has already begun the drama of it all.
She started a "club" for walking around the track during P.E. and has a bunch of friends that she plays with at recess. Recess is already her favorite thing about school. She's keeping up quite well with first grade and it still seems right that she skipped kindergarted, so we're happy with that. Presley still has to watch Katie leave on the bus every morning and wants to go outside with Katie the moment she comes home. I think the time away from each other has been good for Presley. She used to be pretty stand-offish with Katie and now she has become much more fond of her. Hooray!
We got to go see Grandma and Grandpa Johnson at the beginning of the month. Dad braved a post-surgery trip to Utah to go to his mission reunion in conjunction with General Conference. We unfortunately took NO pictures! What has become of us? Grandpa fell in love with our Laz-y-boy chair, and I think he's planning on getting one for himself. It's a fabulous chair for post-tummy surgery life. It was fun to see them, even if only for a day!
The baby is doing very well. At her last ultrasound she showed no signs of problems. The perinatologist said that she is either a negative-blooded baby, or she will likely be a mild case just like Presley. Such great news that we didn't want to go through with the amniocentesis, so for now we keep having ultrasounds every three weeks until 40 weeks is up, or until the baby starts having problems. We are very hopeful that we have a healthy baby on our hands. And very excited.

Glad to hear everything is going well with the baby. What is the plan for Michael's wedding? Will Steve be coming out with the girls if you haven't had the baby? We hope we get to see you guys in December but, I realize a lot is probably up in the air depending on the baby situation. Thanks for the update on your growing family!
