Wayne's Service Banner

In the city of Glendora, there are banners hung along the streets with the names of those from the city who are in the armed forces. When they finish their service, the banners are presented to them or their family during an awards presentation. Since Wayne is no longer active duty he gets his banner now. There was an awards presentation on the 18th, but he had to work, so it was presented to Melissa and Dad. It was pretty nice and they had everyone say something. A few guys picked up their own banners and talked about their tours of duty. It was short and sweet, but the city has tried to honor our soldiers and I think they have done a pretty good job.
