Welcome Home...and Happy Birthday!!!

This past Saturday was a Welcome Home and Birthday celebration for Adam and David at Dave and Annette's. We had a BBQ dinner of Hamburgers, hot dogs and....well, I can't remember the name of the fish, it was the one Annette caught up on Alaska (sorry, fish is fish. At least I tried a bite! The only kind of fish I like is Salmon... and I'm pretty picky about how that is prepared!!) A big THANK YOU to David for BBQing all the food!!! Wish I had gotten a picture of you in your cute apron ;) We also did some swimming before dinner. Great-Grandma and Great-Grandpa graced us with their presence for a few minutes (they both had nasty colds, and didn't want to share!! We appreciated it, but wished we could have had them with us!!!). Shelley, Melissa and I got to meet the other Aunt Gail, on the Johnson side of the family, and her daughter Heather, and Heather's husband and two little boys, Reed and Owen (Heather and her family live just over in Glendale and came to help us celebrate too!! I was great to get to know them!!)
But, the most important thing of the day (well, at least for Hannah) was getting to see her Uncle Adam again!!! She missed him so much while he was gone!!! She was very shy about seeing him at first, but that didn't last long!!! So was his little shadow pretty much the rest of the day!!! Thanks Adam for letting her be with you all afternoon and evening!!! She just ADORES you!!!!
